MacGyver Joe

I have learned now that Joe can fix anything!  I'm a lucky girl!  I also learned about all his mischievous acts as a kid last night at a party when someone broke out the sparklers.  Boys and Fire.  They are lucky to have all five fingers!
We had to wait on the interstate for a hazmat clean-up.  We were late to his race...
So he decided to race the masters category since we were already in the car and ready...
The party we went to was a Luau for Val who turned 40!  Mr. Squirrel even learned to dance.
Cally would be jealous of this picture.

Edgar Soto Racing

This weekend we raced in Nashville!  It was a great couple days and I met some of my teammates I have never met before...and also the team squirrel.  Here are some pics.

And then there was One!

The baby birds fledged today!  The first two pictures were from yesterday.  And the last one was from today after I got home, I went out to look and took this picture and when I turned around, that baby bird flew to the tree and landed on a branch!  And the mom and dad were squeeking with happiness!  It was really cute!  They were getting way too big for that nest.

Summerfest 2008

Stephanie briefly possessed...

me and joe...

It's that time of year again.  A first for me living in the Highlands and being able to walk to the festival.  Makes me appreciate Atlanta a little more!  Joe and I had a little cookout yesterday and we all walked over and listened to some music. Bryan Holloway had his iphone and he took these pics.  I'll try and get more from him and post more later.

They are flapping!

I thought this morning they might fledge, but they are still in the nest this afternoon!  They are flapping their little wings now and may fledge really soon!

Tween Birds

I think the baby birds can now been considered "tweens".  They are not quite adults and they are very chatty these days.  Most likely about it being 95 degrees and not having their own rooms.  Almost every time I look out the window mom is feeding them.  They are growing so fast!

Black Belbet

Linda wanted to show me Bugsy's halloween costume!  He is a little french bulldog, and Linda's tiny favorite!

Round Robin

The Robin out on the deck decided to have two rounds of babies so far.  Total, we have 6.  Aren't they beautiful...and they are in the 90th percentile for weight and height!  So advanced, we feel very lucky!

Joe's Union City Race

I met Joe in Union City after driving in from Florida so I could see his race.  Here are some pics.  He had a flat with three laps to go, so was not able to finish the crit on Saturday.  Sunday was the road race, 68 miles near Silk Sheets.  Watch the guy in tan...and Cally steals the show.
